Indenture, 1400, March 4. 1 Henry IV.

Indenture witnessing the condition of a bond that John ate Wode, son of Ralph ate Wode of Wodecherche, is bound to Roger Hert the Elder of the same town in the sum of 4 marks, to be paid at Easter next; to wit, that if the heirs of the said Ralph ate Wode take any action, etc., against Roger Hert, his heirs, and assigns concerning a piece of land in Wodecherche called "Bayfeld" containing approxiamently 5 acres, the bond shall remain in force; otherwise it shall be annulled. Done at Wodecherche on the 4th day of March, 1 Henry IV.
